"Kya Super Kool Hai Hum's ‘A’ rated trailer finally hits theatres"

Tusshar Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh’s Kya Super Kool Hai Hum’s (KSKHH) original trailer replete with double entrendre dialogues couldn’t be attached with the release of Housefull 2 because the dialogues were unacceptable to the Censor Board. But the scenario has changed now. After receiving an overwhelming response to the ‘A’ version online, the unaltered promo of the film has been put out with Emraan Hashmi’s Jannat 2.

When told to tone down the promo (KSKHH), Balaji had to re-design it for theatrical release. But instead of scrapping the trailer completely, Ekta and her team decided to upload the original cut on the Internet and design a milder version to attach to Housefull 2.

“As per the law, an ‘A’ rated trailer can’t be attached to a ‘U/A’ film. This is why attaching our original promo with Housefull 2 (U/A rated film) didn’t work out. But since Jannat 2 is an ‘A’ rated film, there was no problem in putting out our ‘A’ version trailer with it,” says Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures, adding, “We knew that after Jannat 2, there wouldn’t be an ‘A’ certified film for a long time. So we decided to attach the promo with this film. It’s our original promo without any cuts.”

The film, which also stars Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma, will release on August 2.
