"Heat stroke on set doesn’t halt shoot"

Though Sarah Jane Dias, the newest entrant to the cast of Ekta Kapoor’s Kya Super Cool Hai Hum (KSKHH), fell ill during the shoot in Goa, she refused to delay the film’s schedule and instead continued with the shoot.  Director Sachin Yardi says, “Since we were doing a couple
of beach scenes, Sarah suffered a heat stroke and the doctor advised her to rest. But Sarah refused to waste the unit’s time.”
The rest of the cast, including Ritiesh Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor and newbie Neha Sharma, has also been shooting for the last leg of the film in Goa. Though critics panned 2005’s Kya Kool Hai Hum (KKHH), the first part of this film’s franchise, the makers decided to take on their detractors and even included negative reviews of KKHH in the new film’s posters.
Yardi says, “Though the film has been labelled a sex comedy, we have styled the humour in an upscale manner. It’s in the zone of the American Pie series with a focus on crazy sequences and whacked-out comedy.”
The film’s first trailer spoofs family entertainers like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2000) and Mohabbatein (2001), making it clear that this is not a movie that brings families together. It is slated to release on August 3.
